When traveling, we're often told to stay within the lines. Sometimes lack of planning and leaving the tourist zone can bite you in the rear. We have those stories too. Puerto Barrios, Guatemala; poor planning dumped us in  a near-abandoned resort with nothing else around us, no real form of transportation, and nothing to eat but Ramen Noodle for two days....

Seashells, foreign currency, maps, tickets, a hand-drawn picture of myself. As we travel, we collect all sorts of things; memories, experiences, souvenirs, stories. Littered throughout my house are small reminders of the people I’ve had the pleasure of meeting and the places I have been fortunate enough to explore. Many of them have slowly started to blend into the background, no longer demanding my attention or forcing me to relive a moment. There is one that I haven’t been able...

Cuba : a country that has few luxuries but an undeniably alluring personality. Whether it's the classic cars that are held together by tape and string, the crumbling buildings held up by wooden scaffolding, or the welcoming people that have an irresistible charm - there are countless stories to be told here. Rooftop bars awkwardly open into a family's living room, old men ride oxen carts down the main road, and on every other corner pizzas and tamales are sold straight...

Safari : Southern Africa There are few experiences in life that excite you down to your core. Few moments that leave you in awe, mouth open, eyes wide, and completely speechless. A safari is one. Imagine herds of hundreds of elephants walking mere feet in front of you, prides of lions chasing buffalo, and a stray giraffe walking in front of your car. Imagine being tucked back in the African bush, far from civilization. Landscapes that rival storybooks and crystal clear...
