DARE TO GO.

The Wander Theory Favicon

We are torn between the nostalgia for the familiar and an urge for the foreign and strange. As often as not, we are homseick most for the places we have never known.

Faroe Islands
61.0013.° N, 6.9118° W

18 rocky and volcanic islands make up the stunning archipelago of The Faroe Islands. The island chain is situated between Iceland and Norway in the North Atlantic Ocean and is a self governing nation under the Kingdom of Denmark. The islands are linked by road tunnels, ferries, causeways, and bridges. Over 680 miles of coastline, steep coastal cliffs, dramatic fjords, and rugged, treeless moorlands makes the landscape of these islands incredible. An ever-changing and maritime climate give way to streaks of incredible sun, misty hill fog, and heavy rain.
